The International Meegting José Antonio Cansino Memorial was established in memory of our coach, José Antonio Cansino, who passed away in 2015. The event was created with the clear vision of turning this meeting into a leading benchmark for world athletics.

By 2022, we successfully became the third-best international meeting, ranking behind Madrid and Huelva, and ahead of prestigious events such as the Gran Premio Junta de Andalucía de Andújar and the Iberoamericano de Huelva—all of which are part of the World Athletics Continental Tour.

Participation Criteria: All athletes holding a valid federation license who have registered within the established deadline will be eligible to compete in the authorized events for their respective categories.
